Do you find yourself constantly rushing around, trying to get through your to-do list? Never quite feeling you’re good enough, fast enough, fit enough?
Step out of your life for a weekend and practice the art of self-acceptance, embracing yourself just as you are, here and now. Letting go of striving, both on your mat and in your life can help you to experience new energy, profound well-being and inner contentment.
An easy-going schedule combines an active morning class with a more relaxed restorative class in the late afternoon. The emphasis is on developing the skill of mindfulness through movement, breath awareness meditation and deep relaxation. The weekend is open to all levels.
A guided walk in the surrounding hills can be organised at a reasonable rate.

Paula Flood has been teaching yoga in Dublin since 2001 and is a registered Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance UK. Paula writes: ‘I started to practice hatha yoga in my 20s because of stress and anxiety. Since then, yoga and meditation have literally changed my life. I have great compassion and understanding for people who, like me, are wired to be anxious. Even the laid-back types are under pressure with today’s super-charged lifestyle! The physical aspects of yoga are an excellent lead-in to the more reflective practices like meditation. Ultimately yoga is a unique spiritual journey for each person, even if we never go beyond the postures.’
‘There is so much to learn in the field of yoga and my interest has led me to complete numerous trainings including in yoga anatomy, yoga therapy, Viniyoga, restorative yoga, anti-gravity and prenatal yoga, mindfulness meditation and Buteyko breathing.’
Paula brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her teaching, encouraging self-enquiry and above all, self-acceptance.
